Such a beautiful location in the morning sun, and the plants lend a feeling of life to the space! The owners and the employees are all excellent friendly people and provide such an electric vibe! The drinks are tasty and you can tell they are made with love! I can tell Spruce is going to add such a great hangout space for East Rock!!

We loved the vibe and the cozy seating areas!!! Our group of five, ranging n age from 20 to 90 😊, settled into a large sofa and soft chairs towards the back. Everyone felt comfortable and had a lovely time sipping our drinks and talking. 💕

The best vibes (and coffee) in New Haven. Never had a bad experience, the most inclusive and interesting people - baristas & customers. There’s always enough seating, and they host interesting events almost every evening. Highly, highly recommend.

Phenomenal flat white. Their sugar free syrup is actually good and not artificial tasting like many. Love the vibe of the shop. It’s cozy, quiet, and most important it advocates for what is right.

My favorite place ever. Went here with my mom after searching for something to do for almost a week, and we just stayed here for hours playing games and listening to music! They even let me play the guitar that was on their wall. An amazing vibe for creatives and top quality coffee/festive drinks. 10/10 recommend.

Adorable place with a very cozy vibe. The coffee is excellent, and the servers are friendly. It’s also a bar at night if that is more your thing. You can definitely spend time in here doing work or chatting with friends.

First time coming to this place. The food and lattes were delicious and fresh. The staffs were extremely friendly. The atmosphere was cozy. They have sofas for people to sit down and relax.

almost every time i’m down by east rock, i come here! the coffee is great and the matchas are decent for the price. the cozy and welcoming atmosphere really sells it. great place to sit and chat with a friend on their plush couches.
